| but once I started thinking about it, the top cover, which leads from outside to inside, was obviously on tight and correct, while the actual lid and second cover you could say of the fuel pump was the part that was not sealed causing it to vent to the air and not in the car. The real kicker was when I immediatley started sniffing around the car right after I turned it off and follwed the smell to right under my gas tank lid in the driver wheel well. That's when I called up my friend and said "fuck it."
